Grünerløkka
The area, also called "Løkka", is packed with good coffee bars, unique shopping opportunities and excellent restaurants. In the middle of the neighbourhood, you will find the popular venue Parkteatret, with well-known and up-and-coming artists on stage.
You can get to and from Grünerløkka easily; trams 11, 12, 17 and 18 run here. In addition, the 21 and 30 buses will take you through the city centre.
Frogner
Frogner is best known for its wide avenues and small curated shops. You will find exclusive boutique hotels, small niche cinemas and the National Library. In the centre of Frogner, you find Solli Plass, well known for its popular nightlife. Every Sunday, there is a vintage market on Vestkanttorget where you can find treasures.
From here, you can easily travel around the city; the 11, 12 and 13 tram and the 20, 21, 30 and 31 buses run straight through the neighbourhood.
Bislett
A charming area with a short distance to Oslo's busiest shopping streets, Hegdehaugsveien and Bogstadveien. Here you can go for a run at the historic Bislett stadium, read a book in secluded Stensparken or grab a bite to eat at the famous Bislett kebab. Kunstnernes Hus is just around the corner if you are looking for more culture.
Bislett is a bustling hub with the 17 and 18 tram and the 21 bus passing by. Oslo Met is in the middle of the area and the University of Oslo is within walking distance.
